So that's what I look like after being unwrapped and cleaned up a little
by the doctor today. I was caked with blood and other liquids when the
headwrap was removed.
The cotton is there to prevent draining leaking all over me
The stitches are deep in the meat.
The little abrasions are from the head clamp I think.
I have them all over my head so I am pretty sure it's
from the clamp.
Yes, it hurts.

Holy Crap, was that exostosis surgery, it looks like what my doctor described to me.
Your level of discomfort would suggest the drill surgery took place, that and the folding of the ear.
