The Republicans are coming

"We hold these truths to be self-evident: That all men are created equal; that they are endowed with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness..."

Except if you're gay, because then the bible supercedes the Declaration of Independence.
Except if you're not white, because you clearly do not
know what's best for America, or even yourself for that
matter.

Legal documents only have influence when we see fit, and when we find something better in the bible, we go with that.

If you're an honest, law abiding citizen who has tragically fallen on hard times, there will be no free handouts.
You need somehting? Buy it. Otherwise you don't deserve it.
It doesn't matter if you've fallen on hard times because of bad government decisions and policies.

If you cannot afford health insurance, die fast.
It's your fault you cannot afford coverage in the first place.
But don't worry, elected officials get free coverage.

National parks and protected fisheries are not essential to the existence of the United States if there's a buck to be made !
Drill it, dredge it, destroy it!

Science lacks credibility when results and data conflict
with the company line.

If we don't get what we want, then you're not getting anything done if we can help it.

The United States possesses enough nuclear weaponry to eradicate humanity ten times over, but if the stock piles are reduced to the point we can only do it five times,
we think that unneccessarily weakens our capabilities.

Tax cuts for the rich will spur the economy even though
the half-plus decade of such tax cuts have never blossomed anywhere except in the coffers of the wealthy.

If you're an illegal immigrant doing work that no American citizen wants to do, we will hunt you down and
cast you out while also allowing corporate America and manufacturing to send jobs overseas. See, we're fair and balanced.

If you're a homosexual in the Armed Forces, we think you
need to stay quiet about, otherwise we'll have you kicked out.
It doesn't matter that you're doing the same job as everyone else. It doesn't matter that we'll send you to die alongside the heterosexuals.
You are not a real person to us and we will do everything
possible maintain that stance.

Separation of church and State can be ignored.
We do not care if you're not onboard with our religion,
it's all about what we want. If you're not one of us it is
obvious there is something wrong with you.

We gather in large angry mobs and we're loud.
Do not try to trick us with civility, reality, or intelligence, we're not having any of that.

Progressive thinking, a desire to help all Americans, a
willingness to think reasonably, an intentional effort to conserve/preserve the nation's natural resources, and any thought of treating all people equally makes you the enemy of us and we'll make sure that translates into an enemy the United States too.

If you're not an obedient follower, you are the enemy.

If you are an obedient follower, we're going to take everything away from you if we can and you'll like it.
