I didn't get the supervisor position, a brown noser got it. I expect him to burn out just like the last 2 have. So maybe after this one flames out under the workload and pressure I'll finally get that raise.
I met a girl, a model, and then un-met her, but it was a fun few weeks.
I ain't done much in art. It's a source of shame for me. My short term goals do not include more art, but do include building a new table/work space so I can do moar arht!
It's seriously cold and the snow is no good for snowmen but that's ok because I am so not going outside. This is probably the first time it's snowed and I stayed indoors. Just too frigid!
I can't think of anything else right now but I will be back
not dead Just way busy Work, overtime, the garden, and now a graphics tablet.
I got my Huion and it works if I only use that and not a dual monitor set up. I am working on upgrades to make sure I can use both monitors without lag.
I got the 19 inch GT-190
I like it for a first graphics tablet.
In a year I'll probably upgrade to the IPS models.
I'm using the free version of Krita. I might go for Clip Studio later.
My online art courses start in a month or so.
I'm going to delete the majority of my gallery. I'll keep a few select pieces. Everything else is going bye bye.
I'm also removing a good 100+ people from my watch list. I try to keep up with as many people as I can but some I only hear from if I seek them out, so they're getting dumped. That way when I get done with the gardening season I can just work with the people I know stuck around.
October is going to be 2 years since my last surgery, which is great. Hopefully that means no more tumors. So this autumn will be about arting and finally getting back in shape for real.
OMG GoT The season is moving so fast Zombies on the march, dragons murdering soldiers left and right, the Starks reunited, the Queen and her schemes, so good!
3 new music videos (actually albums) and 3 new art videos on the profile page!! The art videos are really good this week.
Stupid thunderstorm killed one of my sunflowers.
I got something called a T-Rex Aloe plant a few weeks ago. It's really cool, I'll take piks eventually. It's just an Aloe with a ton of teeth like spikes on it, but I think it's really cool.
Turns out the one I bought was actually 5 plants. I didn't realize until it was too late. One died. But the other 4 are now properly separated and hopefully going to survive.
I literally have to build a window display so that I can have all my plants inside for the winter. 4 t-rexes, 2 cactus, aloe, mother's tongue, and something called a cosmic cactus. Plus whatever else I acquire between now and then.
My aloe was only four inches tall when I got it, now it's almost 2 feet tall. I don't know where I am going to put that.
I got my book on perspective, it's pretty cool and very helpful. Especially with drawing curved perspective. And the book has a work section in it so I can immediately push myself to do betterer arting.
Oh America...... A guy in New York state was keeping a wild deer on the second floor of his house. He stated he thought the law allowed him to keep the deer for six weeks. Sounds like a crack smoker to me. Anyway, the deer was okay and released into the forest.
Two people were RE-ARRESTED for trash picking deer parts from local butchers to use in their Chinese or Vietnamese take-out in the sticks of Pennsylvania. This is the SECOND time they got busted for the violation and yet they're still in business! OMFG! What?! The idiots had 300 pounds of various discarded body parts in the freezer at their business! I cannot stop vomiting in my mind.
Happy thoughts
Enjoy your 4th of July
Air Goggles!
Now you too can see the shark moar gooder just before it rips your face off!
The graphics tablet sold out two days before I got paid. I can order direct and wait five weeks for delivery...... OR wait until Amazon is restocked, get Prime shipping, and have a favorable return policy just in case. I'm waiting
So, to hold me over, I ordered a book to help me with complex perspective. That way I can draw backgrounds moar gooder.
Someone at work is having surgery, so I am getting overtime. That should be a three to four week thing. Just when I think I am going to have "me time" I get offered money time I picked money.
Have you seen American Gods? It's amazing! The first season just ended. If you can, see the series! I'm totes getting the DVD when it comes out. It's top notch story telling with fantastic visuals.
The Mist on SpikeTv seems okay. The first episode came out. The best part was the woman with her jaw ripped off
Some of my pepper plants already have wee little babies forming. It's going to be a good season if they're already starting to produce. They're not that old, so I wouldn't have expected anything for another week or two.
Sunflowers are up to my hips now. I have storms coming through this weekend and a real bad storm just hit two days ago. I didn't lose any plants but it's always a possibility when the high winds start ripping.
The turkey have already lost 4 chicks. Down to 12. Probably nine more to go. Nature is cruel and life feeds on life, but it's still sad. They're just babies.
No one cares, but I am alives.
I am currently in the process of setting up my new PC so I am logging int o everything and all that fun stuff.
I am good, I am happy, I hope you're all doing well (if you're still here even)
